A new company for a new challenge

ChainTracker.com was started by Steven McAdam, a London-based Usability Consultant who, frustrated with the poor communication between all the parties involved in the chain when selling his last house, decided to help the process with an online collaboration tool.

Absolute focus on a single task

ChainTracker.com is not trying to compete with the software companies who design software for estate agents and solicitors. Rather, the specific task that ChainTracker.com is tackling, that of improving communication between estate agents, solicitors and buyers/sellers involved in the property sales, or chain of sales, is one that the traditional software vendors can not tackle with their 'closed' systems that do not communicate with each other.

As well as developing our stand-alone product, we will increasingly collaborate with estate agents and software companies to embed our tracker functionality in their environments, enabling their customers to view chains of sales via our database, despite their proprietary nature.

User-centred design

The culture shift that has been imposed on most web design and software development companies in the past few years, towards a genuine focus on the needs, preferences & productivity of the user, was there at the very beginning of ChainTracker.com.

Under constant development, ChainTracker.com will continue to evolve in line with the changing needs of all the stakeholders involved in property sales.
